QA/QC Services provided by APE to manufacturers include:

• Antibiotic Assessment

  • Penicillin activity (for non-human consumption) testing

    • USP Iodometric titration procedure for any solutions with a concentration greater than 2000 u/ml.

    • USP cylinder plate assay for any solutions with a concentration less than 2000 u/ml.

  • Streptomycin activity (for non-human consumption)

    • Streptomycin activity level is determined via the USP Turbidimetric assay.

  • All testing is performed according to USP protocols

   

• Endotoxin Testing

  • Test almost any solution for the presence of Endotoxins

   

• pH Testing

  • Determine an accurate pH of almost any solution
